Welcome to the Fauve Life blog by me, Ivy Bowne! Let me first tell you a little but about myself!

I live in New Jersey right near the beach. I am the owner and designer behind (this website) Fauve Life, where I hand-make mostly everything in the shop. I also work in town at a local restaurant bartending, mixing up some tasty cocktails - but most times you can find me on my boyfriend’s boat, just down the street from my restaurant.

While spending half of my time there with him I’ve learned so many things. One of the best lessons I’ve learned from him is how to simplify my entire life, I don’t know about you but I’m still learning ha! His boat is equipped with, a little kitchen (galley), enough drawers for a few select items, and views that make you want to jump on this lifestyle bandwagon. It has made me rethink how I do things. I’ve been getting craftier with how I live my decorate how I cook / bake and so much more.

So, with all that just to start, I’m so excited for you to get to know me more! I hope to inspire you with all my crazy things & I hope you too switch things up a little bit with me & live outside your comfort zone!
